Publisher's Summary

It's a beautiful day for a war. As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all. And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time. Alex faces a terrible choice: The destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear...or the end of herself.

What a perfect ending!

I love Aiden & Alex’s love story, this book had such a great ending! The Titans series about Seth’s redemption in my opinion is better though, I had unfortunately read it first not knowing about this series lol

Delightful, new, interesting, and smart

Characters were well developed, I could feel for each one. Story kept my interest, and it was hard putting it down.
Story was, at least for me, oringinal

Nostalgia

I started this series in High School back when it first came out but eventually dropped it- not because I didn’t like the series but because of the wait between books. I picked them back up about 2-3 weeks ago and went through all 7 of them! No regrets!

It’s what you’d expect from a YA. Good is good. Bad is bad. You can tell who will live and who will not. Very black and white.

It is very repetitive in wording, and explanations- like we get it, Akasha is the fifth and final element. Wielded by the gods. The strongest Element. It just felt like the author was trying to reach a word limit?

Seth was by far my favourite character. He made the most sense to me throughout the whole series. His anger was justified, so was his need for power. If anything I found it odd that Alex didn’t think the same way but I guess that’s what you get from a typical “good Vs evil” trope.

Aiden is your typical forbidden love interest. He’s a really good dude who truly cares for Alex. I think the only problem I started to have with him was the consistent use of “Agapi Mou“ it started it get cringy after a while; haha

It’s a fun listen, and if I’m honest I think Justine Eyre killed it! She has a nice and calming voice, and I really enjoyed her take on Seth! And if you’ve heard the narration for his spin off The Return you’d know just how well she did; haha

Very disappointing ending

After all the angst in the first 4 books, this is a very disappointing ending. Will not do any spoiler alerts, but overall, I'm kind of pissed. Will move on to Seth's story, and even though it's a spinoff, it will incorporate more of what happens to Alexandria after the ending of this book.

bad narration

the reader sounds robotic. doesn't flow or feel authentic. hard to even want to hear the book at all.

It was better than expected

Loved this.

Well written and the narrator was great.

Looking to go on to Seth's story now he's a great character.
