About this listen

Deep inside Minkalla's depths Matt, Liz, Aster, and Susanne just fought one of the strongest monsters they have ever encountered. But their delve isn't over yet.

Three floors remain and each promises to push them past their perceived limits.

There is no escape. There is no higher Tier to get them out of trouble.

The only things they can rely on are themselves and the rest of the party.

Don't miss Book 7 of this action-packed fantasy adventure that blends everything you love about LitRPG with Xianxia.

About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

Some well needed character growth.

For being one of the shorter installments of the series so far, and it being the culmination of the previous book's arc I was pleasantly surprised with the character growth we got. Most of the series up until now has been blasting through epic fights and world building with minor peaks into the character's motivations, but this book had a lot of growth through the challenges they faced in Minkalla. Looking forward to seeing what happens next on the Path.

Book 6 and 7 feel like one book.

I imagine they were split up as to not have a nearly 40 hour instalment but personally I wouldn't have minded.
Some of the reflections were a little tedious and I would have taken less time spent on those for a more wrapped up ending.
Still I very much enjoy this series and fully plan to continue.
It's a rarity in this type of lit where the established powers are so well thought through. Especially considering that this isn't about someone outside those powers trying to make it, but about people within them just trying to live their lives.

Great Book!

This is book seven and this series was a new to me author and I'll definitely be looking for any other works. I loved the story line as well as the characters. I'd recommend this book!

Still no exploiting the heck out of Rift manipulation.

Ok story. The 'reflection' section wound on for hours and I don't feel like the payoff was worth all the side stories. The outcome could have been had in half the time for twice the entertainment using a different tact. Good enough to have me buy the next book though 🤷

Reflections were boring

I fell asleep from boredom in the reflections portion and had to skip it. I expected a lot mote from book 7. The story seems stale now.

Bundled Short Stories, Not Much Real Story

Just another jumble of short stories smashed together. None of the obstacles or challenges feel impactful, and all are highly forgettable. There's hardly any stream of consciousness woven though the whole mess to tie it together. It was supposed to be some scary Uber-Dungeon, but we got a bunch of pidly mini-games.

This is another wasted installment. Killed a bit of time for me, but I didn't get much enjoyment.
