It’s an ok book. Was it so difficult to not include politics.

It’s decent. Some good points. Repeats the same points multiple times. Inclusion of politics here and there was frustrating.

So good... I listened in 1 day. So worth it.

I had already decided to write my own book prior to listening to this book. I heard Allison on a podcast yesterday and decided to order her book last night. It didn't disappoint. Being a person who has some training in helping others work through trauma and loss, I found the promise of writing something that I could share with others as well. I personally have grown immensely by giving "words" to life's experiences as well as recognizing patterns in my life and the lives of others. This is the wonderful gift of writing. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.
PS. Part way through Chapter 3... I already bought a copy for a friend as a gift.

Highly nutritious, no bad fat...

This is a great book. If you need help getting started in writing anything (and I mean any little thing) this book is the place to start.
If this book were a meal, it would be highly nutritious with good cholesterol. The author makes it personal without cueing violins, and I really appreciate that. Job well done.
