About this listen
Sparhawk and his companions set forth to find King Sarak's grave by raising ghosts of those who had perished in that ancient battle. The Seeker, an insectile monster spawned of the evil god Azash, hounded their every step. Still, Sparhawk pressed on, driven by desperate need. They had to find Bhelliom before his Queen perished. They must not fail!

Excellent narration, but music was distracting
Loved the story and the narration, although music would sometimes play over certain chapters as they began or ended, which was distracting and unnecessary.

Great story
Second part of a superb trilogy. The struggles of a knight to save his queen is probably David Eddings' best work. A must read for fans of his work.

Classic Eddings!
The three books of the Elenium are some of Eddings' best work. Great story that keeps pace while still making time for character development. Take it for a spin!

Boring and shows the author was a creep
Content warnings, this book makes light of pedophillia and rape. The story is clumsy and slow. The narration is awful. The writing is sub par. And throughout, we have a theme of women as either sex objects, victims, or mother figures. There is no room for any other characterization. Child brides are a frequent theme in his books as is child abuse in general and it’s always made light of.
