Grounded in truth, uplifting in spirit
Thankful for the truth taught in this book in ways that help lift the darkness of this world. It helped me through a difficult season, and I shall refer to it in the future. The author has a way to write truth in ways that reach the heart and soul.
Highly recommended.

So needed in these troubled times
I was so blessed by this book that I even bought the kindle book to read along while I listen to it. There were so many truths to remind us where we need to set our hope in.... in the One who is unshakable, unmovable, and always there... waiting for us. I thought I'd read this on a trip, but found myself in tears of how wonderful revelations and promises Max Lucado was reminding us, I decided to read this in private. :) When I completed the book, I messaged my family to read this wonderful book. One thing I liked was that our Christian loved ones have not passed away, but have passed onward. There were too many fantastic nuggets I found in this book to name them. The narrator is wonderful as always. Ben Holland reminds me of a father reading to his kids by the fire.. makes us feel relaxed to enjoy the story.
Oh I highly recommend this book to those who need hope, who need a reminder that there is Jesus who is always there for us and He is Unshakable. I will definitely read this book again.

Simple and compelling
Simple truth, backed up with Scripture. Easy to listen to. Max Lucado has a way of putting a positive "hopeful" light onto any dark situation or thoughts.

Just not my style and tone of writing for this kind of book. (The sample did not capture the funny attempts.) Had to return.
