Ch. 22 is offensive to pwBPD.

Ch. 22 "befriending people with BPD" is offensive. It makes pwBPD sound like monsters, and encourages people to get away asap.. Im here trying to help myself, and this is the encouragement I get.. I'm offended. Thanks a lot.

makes me worry

It felt like there are two pieces of advice in this book.
if you have BPD, get help. if you don't have BPD, have very little to do with people who do have it.
hopefully no one I know reads this book, something something fear of abandonment.
it is really more complicated than that, or more nuanced, but that, I feel, is the meat and potatoes of the book.
