Few of us have lived through the kind of suffering Teal Swan endured: 13 years of ritual abuse at the hands of a cult. But all of us have been fractured by trauma in one way or another. Your wounds may be visible as bodily scars; or they may show up in the form of anxiety, depression, or PTSD; or you may simply be struggling in your life for reasons you don’t simply understand. Most people don't realize how much unresolved emotional pain they carry around. They don't know why they always feel depressed, anxious, victimized, or disappointed. They wonder why they keep making the same self-sabotaging impulsive decisions. These patterns often stem from their lost inner child, which carries a false narrative that has been on repeat since childhood.

Did you know that men secretly use texting as a way to "pre-screen" a woman’s romantic value? A woman’s texting habits can reveal a lot about her self-worth, confidence, intelligence, and even her level of class and emotional maturity. Because guys covertly appraise a woman’s relationship potential this way, many women often have no idea that the way they communicate via text is actually sending the wrong message and thus, they unknowingly end up chasing men away.

Teal gets to the heart of the matter and explains exactly why loving ourselves is so hard. She shared her heart wrenching story and gives very practical tips on how to move forward with your life.
This is exactly what I needed at this point in my life. I’ve also read the Anatomy of Loneliness, and The Completion Process. Both of which I enjoyed, but have to say this one is still my favorite so far.
Simply amazing
