Narrator: Luone Ingram - good
Another great book in an enjoyable series. I cannot wait to see the first three books on screen once they are all done. Only the first is complete and available for viewing so far. The other two are going into production.
My favorite part was the banter that came out between Daphne and James. We got to see the witty and clever side of this quiet, young woman. Her confidence issues are something any woman can relate to one way or another. James infuriated me AND impressed me. Both had a growth arc in different ways but James’ was especially satisfying.
I was glad to learn more about Linus and Artemis, two of Daphne’s siblings that are featured in the next two books. I also appreciated understanding more about Mr. Lancaster, their father, toward the end of the story.
It’s true that the road to true love doesn’t run smooth and this journey definitely had its challenges!
