Publisher's Summary

Narcissistic abuse affects us mentally, emotionally, physically, and psychologically. The gravity of the repercussions can only be fully understood by those who have been through this type of ongoing trauma. Survivors often experience low self-esteem, a feeling of powerlessness, fear, and self-doubt. They feel shattered, confused, depressed, anxious, and overwhelmed with emotions. Symptoms of complex PTSD are common, as well as many types of chronic illness. These relationships can bring us to the depths of despair, where we wonder if it is even possible to heal.

Healing after narcissistic abuse is possible, and this book will show you how.

Debbie Mirza shares her own personal story of healing after experiencing several narcissists throughout her life, as well as simple yet powerful techniques that she has learned through her own experience, as well as years of interacting with thousands of survivors in her support group and coaching practice.

You will learn tools and practices that will empower you, bring you clarity, and enable you to see your true worth. The way you were treated had nothing to do with you, and this healing path will become your hero’s journey.

Loved both of her books..

After listening to « The Passive-Aggressive Covert Narcissist », I immediately started on « Worthy of Love ». It was just what I needed and I’m sure I’ll be applying its many helpful suggestions to my new life!

Exactly.

This is exactly what I have gone through as someone recovering from years of abuse. It has explained the thoughts and feelings I have struggled with and affirmed that they are normal and I am not crazy. It also has helped me realize I am on the healing path as I can be unsure of unfamiliar territory. Excellent listen for those who are feeling unsure and struggling with feeling worthy in your new life.

Self indulgent, long.

I enjoyed her previous book.

This is Mirza's personal journey and a heaping dose of compliments for narcissist abuse survivors. She has no comparison to other people's recoveries and it rambles on and on. She excludes part of her emotional story for her own protection with the result that the reader isn't facing the trials with her. It is more like a travel log than her internal journey, It would have benefited from more publishing self-control to consider the reader\listener. It comes off as very self-indulgent.

Her voice is fine and she believes in this, but it needs a rethink.
