Looking at real estate isn’t usually a life-or-death situation, but an apartment open house becomes just that when a failed bank robber bursts in and takes a group of strangers hostage. The captives include a recently retired couple who relentlessly hunt down fixer-uppers to avoid the painful truth that they can’t fix their own marriage. There’s a wealthy bank director who has been too busy to care about anyone else and a young couple who are about to have their first child but can’t seem to agree on anything.

For as long as anyone can remember, Britt-Marie has been an acquired taste. It's not that she's judgmental or fussy or difficult - she just expects things to be done in a certain way. A cutlery drawer should be arranged in the right order, for example - forks, knives, then spoons. We're not animals, are we? But behind the passive-aggressive, socially awkward, absurdly pedantic busybody is a woman who has more imagination, bigger dreams and a warmer heart than anyone around her realises.

Le timbre légèrement éraillé de Stéphane Ronchewski vous plonge dans un récit haletant et plein d'humour. Il aura suffi d'une seule mauvaise, très mauvaise idée. Rien de plus. Un 31 décembre, dans une petite ville suédoise, un individu entre dans une banque pour la braquer, ressort bredouille, et fait malencontreusement irruption dans un appartement pendant une visite groupée. Ce qui est évidemment une très mauvaise idée, puisque le braquage se transforme alors en prise d'otage.

Elsa est une enfant solitaire et sa seule amie est sa grand-mère. Mais un jour, la vieille dame meurt : la petite fille fera son deuil en allant transmettre des lettres que sa grand-mère avait écrites pour de nombreux destinataires : lettres d'excuses, de regret et d'amour. Elle comprend petit à petit que les contes qu'elle lui racontait s'inspiraient de personnages bien réels.

Visitar un apartamento en venta no es una situación de vida o muerte. A menos que sea la víspera de Nochevieja, vivas en una pequeña ciudad en Suecia y alguien haya tenido la peor idea de su vida y decidido atracar un banco que no maneja efectivo. Entonces, sí lo es. Porque, cuando alguien es así de idiota, es inevitable que no sepa cómo huir y termine en un apartamento en venta tomando rehenes sin querer.
