The author could be better, it's not his fault really, his voice just isn't quite right - with a book like this that's often got 'exciting' parts, his voice...well it isn't exciting. Doesn't bring the story to the level it could go, unfortunately.
I still enjoyed this audiobook, it's #2 in the series, and I like it even more than I liked the first one! I plan on trying the 3rd (if there is one).
It has interesting characters and creative monsters...it's good.
