About this listen
When it comes to health, there is one criminally overlooked element: sleep. Good sleep helps you shed fat for good, stave off disease, stay productive, and improve virtually every function of your mind and body. That's what Shawn Stevenson learned when a degenerative bone disease crushed his dream of becoming a professional athlete. Like many of us, he gave up on his health and his body...until he decided there must be a better way. Through better sleep and optimized nutrition, Stevenson not only healed his body but also achieved fitness and business goals he never thought possible.
In Sleep Smarter, Stevenson shares easy tips and tricks to discover the best sleep and best health of your life. With his 14-Day Sleep Makeover, you'll learn how to create the ideal sleep sanctuary, how to hack sunlight to regulate your circadian rhythms, which clinically proven sleep nutrients and supplements you need, and stress-reduction exercises and fitness tips to keep you mentally and physically sharp.
Sleep Smarter is the ultimate guide to sleeping better, feeling refreshed, and achieving a healthier, happier life.

Just amazing
I had problems sleeping for years because of my finances..
It has been a long time now that I sleep well.
I sleep like a baby.
But if I don't sleep height hours well that's though.
I need to sleep several times during the day to get to this amount. Because I don't feel good.
I don't feel complete.
For me coffee makes me sleepy.
I'm working the graveyard shift for an hotel.
I'm the night auditor.
I would never be able to go back working during the day.
It's so much peaceful during the night.
I just hate those led lights. I can't see a thing.
The guy that invented that is a complete morron.
What I feel is like a jetlag. But I have pills that help me with that.
Since I did change for the night.
My stress level did go way down.
So you have to choose your battles.
You can't have everything.
It's going to be a great book to read again and again if I ever have problems one day.
I liked a lot the narration.

This book was literally life changing for me!!!
Lots of really great tips and an easy listen. I’ve tried a few techniques over the years to help with my insomnia when I am feeling stressed, with limited results at best (I would always still wake up in the middle of the night with my mind racing and have a hard time falling back asleep). There was one tip in particular in this book that was literally life-changing for me and improved my sleep tenfold immediately upon starting it as a part of my bedtime routine! I’m not going to say what it is because I think people should listen to this book and find the tips that work best for them. Suffice to say I am ever grateful for my new routine - not only do I have an easy time falling asleep, but I have slept straight through every night since starting it over a week ago. 5 stars all around!!! Thank you to the author for sharing such great advice!!!

Excellent audiobook. Great tips and well explained
Many of the concepts that Shawn refers to I have heard about over the years but he does a fantastic job of breaking things down and explaining at a scientific level as to why these sleep strategies are affective. He also makes the audiobook fun and not mundane.
