Practical, evidence based advice

Loved this book. I am a dietitian by trade and enjoyed reading a book based on scientific truths and research instead of hot trends and myths. Practical advice for gradual improvements in diet, exercise and overall health. This will be my go to reference.

I loved it.

Best Honest truth about fitness

A great book, packed full of so much information that I probably should stop to take notes while listening. No bull, and once you get past the intro there is no filler text. Everything is just pure honest truth about how to get fit and even a bunch of info on minding muscle imbalances and correcting them.

ive been listening to mindpump for years and STILL got value out of this book. i absolutely love the way Sal lays it all out plain and simple for absolutely anyone to understand! if your struggling on getting started with your health, just want to learn even more or have never even considered an active and healthy lifestyle for yourself you will get something out of this book! Big thanks to Sal and the mindpump team for everything they do and put out. If you havent yet i HIGHLY suggest giving Mindpump a listen too.

A piece of GEM!

Sal Di Stefano crosses the line in the world of fitness, where false and misleading information and advertising are becoming a standard. He presents the “RAW TRUTH” about health, fitness, and nutrition, focusing on “Strength Training” and its benefits, He did a great job, and I was captivated the entire time.
Entertaining and Educational, Definitely recommend to all from Beginner to Advanced Levels

Sal uses a science based approach to training

This book is great and so glad I got it.
It is a No nonsense approach to getting fit, it gives you the tools to succeed without killing yourself on the treadmill or using Cardio. Regardless of your fitness level, this is worth the quick listen. Sal is a great author, expert trainer, who will actually respond to you on social media to questions you may have. His Mind Pump pod cast is amazing, highly recommend it, I stumbled on to it a year ago which enticed me to buy this book.

Best stuff out there, great advice!

I've listened to Sal and Mindpump for several years. Whether you're an advanced lifter or a beginner their programs and advice work over the long haul. It's worked very well for me personally, especially the information around intuitive eating and boosting your metabolism. It's explained in an easy to understand fashion and simply works.

MIND PUMP WINS YET AGAIN!!

Bought this even though I have MAPS Anabolic and a huge fan of the podcast.

I am coming back from a layoff and want to put 100% into getting back to my Pre-Covid fitness level and then improve on that.

I have learned and incredible amount after the first listen and cannot wait to implement it all.
