Nutrition textbook
This book should be required reading for everyone. It teaches everything you need to know about nutrition and how to use it to optimize your mental health. It is a masterpiece and has actionable plans for self-improvement. Dr Ede has a great speaking/ reading voice that kept me engaged.

Life changing information
I was able to put my decade long mental health disorder into remission following the advice from this book! I’m just grateful that these scientists exist and people who have been diagnosed with seemingly chronic conditions can heal thanks to this newly emerging field of nutritional psychiatry.

One of those books that changes your life…
Followed the information in the book and my anxiety became manageable. Only side effect was that I lost 15lbs of body fat… what a bonus!

The author has an interesting premise, but no data to back it up. She spends a lot of time debunking other studies, but genuinely has none to support her ideas. It's all ancedotal and and theoretical. Most diet books are ridgid and need to be taken with a grain of salt but if you want to read this one, please read some other ones too. I think some of the ideas would be with trying but I would hate for people to think these are tried and true principles.
