Publisher's Summary
The author of the bestselling Wheat Belly series of books brings his next big game-changing idea— the human microbiome and the silent epidemic of SIBO—to the mainstream
Dr. William Davis has connected the dots between “gut health” and many common, modern ailments and complaints. One in three people have SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), which causes a long list of health issues yet is not addressed by most doctors. It is a silent epidemic created by the loss of crucial microbial species that our ancestors had as recently as fifty to a hundred years ago, and that have been erased by the industrialization of food and medicine, combined with the proliferation of bacterial species ordinarily associated only with fecal material. Dr. Davis also explores the profoundly underappreciated epidemic of intestinal fungal overgrowth—SIFO (small intestinal fungal overgrowth)—that has seized the health of so many people, even pointing toward patients with dementia who have been found to harbour fungi in their brain that has likely travelled upward from the intestinal tract.
Super Gut shares a four-week plan to reprogram your microbiome based on research and revolutionary techniques not previously discussed anywhere else. This approach not only gets to the root of many diseases, but also improves levels of oxytocin (the hormone of love and empathy) and brain health, and promotes anti-aging and weight loss. Dr. Davis provides not just the science and case studies but also more than forty recipes. In Super Gut, he helps listeners understand the science, identify their gut issues and eradicate them, and maintain long-term health.

Story
Sales is a skill anyone can learn and master - and introverts are especially good at it once they learn how to leverage their natural strengths. Introverts aren't comfortable with traditional tactics like aggressively pushing a product or talking over a customer's objections. That's the beauty of The Introvert's Edge: it doesn't focus on the sale itself but on a sales system that helps introverts feel sincere instead of sales-y.

Kenan Thompson is Saturday Night Live’s longest-ever-serving cast member and a star of such pioneering sketches as “Black Jeopardy” and is hugely beloved thanks to a tidal wave of nostalgic fans who grew up on early 2000s classics All That, Good Burger, and Kenan & Kel on Nickelodeon. He’s also a dad (to two girls) in his mid-40s living in suburbia, and whose universal, relatable, family-friendly humor has created unbelievable appeal and engagement from fans from middle America to coastal elites. Becoming a dad sucked the cool right out of him—and he's OK with that!

Excellent information
The information is excellent. I'm looking forward to trying the recipes. A couple considerations for improvement include: 1) A different approach to discussing the potential shortfalls of various diets, Ketogenic in particular. It's not the diet that's the problem, it's the person who chooses to eliminate all carbohydrates focused solely on weight loss instead of improving health. Unfortunately, many people still associate size with beauty instead of health. 2) Describe the tools required for fermenting projects. This could go in the PDF or provide a link to a video demonstrating the process.

Interesting points
A hard read/listen, I was hoping to have more actual science backed information. The diversity of probiotic strands suggested is interesting. And information is encouraging however the book feels like a 10 hour advertisement for a stringent protocol that only works as long as you choose to continue on the program for life.
