Years ago, after suffering a humiliatingly large dumb tax, it dawned on me that I have a seemingly unlimited ability to hit unforced errors and sabotage my business and financial success. I suspect you do, too. It turns out that the key to getting rich (and staying that way) is to avoid doing stupid things. I don't need to do more smart things. I just need to make fewer dumb mistakes. The vast majority of our dumb tax is a direct result of emotional, overly optimistic, and poorly thought out decisions. Every one of those three decisions you would love to unwind was an avoidable mistake.
Thinking is critical to sustainable success in business; said another way, business is an intellectual sport. The principles and structure suggested in The Road Less Stupid will enable anyone, regardless of the size of the business, the currency, or the industry, to run their business more effectively, make more money, and dramatically increase the likelihood of keeping that money. Shave years off your success journey
This is one of the best business books I've read by far. Keith is a legend and he's taken the time to distill over 40 years of failures into condensed, actionable learning lessons to help shave years off of our success journey while paying less dumb tax to get there. Highly recommend.

Most thorough business owner manual
Everything you need to know as a business owner and CEO. Keith brilliantly sheds light on the abundant amount of blind spots that most business owners / CEOs have. One can spend years continuously reviewing and implementing this book, tools, Thinking Time questions, and still have incredibly more room to improve.

Not a self-esteem booster
i realize the title is supposed to be catchy, but the whole book is about how you’re doing everything wrong in your business. Question every move you make. And question your questions! It’s important ask the right ones. “Question everything” becomes overwhelming chapter after chapter, there have to be some good parts of my business right?! While this likely has good info, i couldn’t get past the “i’m doing everything wrong” atmosphere to get to something productive and useable.

Tough to listen to.
Couldn't finish listening to this guy scream at his readers. Synopsis of the book is don't do stupid things and get ahead in life by working 16+ hours a day. Not for me I want the smart road not the one less stupid.
